Join us in celebrating Winter Bike to Work Day on February 13, 2026

One of the best parts about living in Colorado is that the cycling season never has to end. This February, join cyclists across the state—and around the world—for our annual Winter Bike to Work Day.

Ride with GoNoCo34 TMO today!

Visit our first annual Winter Bike to Work Day Station!

The TMO will be partnering with the City of Loveland to provide breakfast, refreshments and more at:  500 E. 3rd Street, Loveland from 7-9:30am

Everyone is Welcome!

Not commuting to an office? No problem! You can still participate whether you're riding around your neighborhood, taking a quick spin before logging on at home, hitting the school drop-off line, or visiting a local breakfast station before you start your day.

You don't need a "work" destination to join in—ride to the grocery store, the library, or just around the block! You might just find that biking is the happiest part of your day.

What to expect!

Whether you’re a daily commuter or a first-time winter rider, Winter Bike to Work Day is all about community, fresh air, and fun. Here’s what you can look forward to:

Fuel Up with Free Breakfast: Swing by any official breakfast station to grab some morning fuel! While every station is unique, you can expect a variety of free food and beverages to keep you warm and energized (while supplies last).

Comradery and Community: You won’t be alone out there! Our trails and bikeways come alive on event days. Expect plenty of smiles, waves, and high-fives as you connect with fellow Coloradans who value life on two wheels. It’s the perfect place to make a new friend.

A Ride for Everyone: There is no "experience required" here. This event is for everyone—from seasoned cyclists to those who haven't been on a bike in years.

  • If you're a pro: Be patient and welcoming to new riders.
  • If you're new: Don’t be afraid to ask questions! We’re here to help you get rolling.

Be Winter-Ready: Colorado winters are famous for their mood swings! We can see 60-degree sunshine or sub-zero snow all in the same day.

  • Check the Forecast: Review weather and road conditions before you head out.
  • Dress in Layers: Be prepared for shifts in temperature between your morning and afternoon rides.
  • Safety First: If the weather turns truly hazardous, don't sweat it—feel free to ride another day. The goal is to have fun and stay safe!

Follow the Rules of the Road!

Let's keep the "fun" in functional by being predictable and courteous. A few quick reminders:

  • Obey the Law: Follow all traffic signs and signals.
  • Go with the Flow: Ride with traffic, not against it.
  • Use bike lanes and trails whenever possible. If you need to ride in the street, ride as far to the right, in the right lane, as practicable except when passing another vehicle, preparing for a left turn, or avoiding hazards.
  • Signal Your Moves: Use hand signals for turns and stops. Always use an audible signal (like a bell or a friendly "on your left!") before passing.
  • Be Visible: Use a headlight, taillight, and reflectors, especially in the early morning or evening.
  • Slow Your Roll: Respect a 15-mph courtesy speed limit on multi-use trails.
